Bathroom Childproofing Tips
A great place to start, aside from the child’s room itself, is the bathroom.
Here are some bathroom childproofing tips:
- Install a toilet lock. This will prevent your toddler from lifting the lid and sticking his hands in or dropping a toy.
- Place rubber or soft plastic safety guards over possibly sharp or hard surfaces, ensuring a safe bath time for your little one.
- Get a nonslip or rubber mat. Slippery surfaces can be very hazardous for anyone, especially clumsy little feet. Reduce slips and make sure that even if they do fall, it won’t be directly on tiled floor.
