Low Flow Toilet Requirements in California
California homeowners who are thinking of doing some renovation in their homes must take note of a new requirement – they are now required to install low-flow toilets in their homes. This makes California the first state to require this water conserving move, and hopefully, other states would follow the example.
According to Kathleen Wilson for the Huffington Post, “Owners of single-family homes built before 1994 — a number near 172,000 in Ventura County — would see an immediate impact if they remodel and don’t have the fixtures.”
