Plumbing Safety Do’s and Don’ts
There may be times when you’d rather do all the dirty work yourself and not call in the help of a plumber, especially when you consider yourself pretty skilled when it comes to minor plumbing issues.
However, it’s easy to rely on your hands-on prowess and forget that safety should also be a major concern.
So here are a couple of plumbing safety do’s and don’ts to keep you guided while you tackle a broken pipe or a leaky faucet:
- Do protect your eyes, hands and even your lungs with the necessary protective equipment.
- Don’t work when your are impaired or lack focus.
- Do have an extra set of hands to help you get the task done more safely and quickly.
- Don’t misuse equipment. Stick to what they are intended to be used for.
