Plumbing Raleigh is a free referral service. This page explains what we do with the information you give us when you ask for a quote. We’ve kept it plain because you deserve to know exactly what happens to your details.
What the quote form collects
When you submit the quote form, you can provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your city or ZIP code (optional)
- The type of service you need
- A description of the plumbing problem
Along with your submission, our system records the time you sent it and the IP address of the request. We use the IP address only to limit spam and repeated submissions.
What we do with it
Your request is sent by email to a licensed local plumbing contractor so they can respond to you with a quote. That’s the whole purpose of the form. Plumbing Raleigh does not store your submission in a database, and we don’t build a profile on you. Your details live in the email correspondence between you, us, and the plumber who receives your request.
We don’t sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it with a licensed local plumber for the single purpose of getting you a quote, and nothing beyond that.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit our pages. It is cookieless, does not track you across other websites, and does not tie visits to the personal details you enter in the quote form.
How long we keep it
Because there’s no database, your information stays only in the email records created when you submit a request. Those emails are kept as long as needed to respond to your request and for normal business record-keeping, then deleted.
Requesting deletion
You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Reply to any email you receive after submitting a request, or send a new request through the quote form noting that you’d like your details removed. We’ll delete the email records we hold.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
